This role is ideal for an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC who is looking to gain strong residential treatment experience, provide meaningful clinical care, and grow within a supportive behavioral health organization. This is a fully in-person position located in Downey, CA 90242 . Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to consistently commute to the facility. Why Join Our Team? Full-time schedule $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience 401(k) available Supportive and collaborative clinical team Opportunity to provide individual therapy and facilitate meaningful groups Strong clinical experience working toward licensure Small residential treatment setting with individualized client care Meaningful work supporting adults experiencing mental health challenges Stable and growing behavioral health organization Responsibilities Facilitate process groups, psychoeducational groups, and therapeutic activities Provide individual therapy sessions as assigned Complete biopsychosocial assessments and maintain timely clinical documentation Participate in treatment planning and treatment plan reviews Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, behavioral health technicians, and residential leadership Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed Help maintain a safe, structured, trauma-informed treatment environment Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards Qualifications Active California Associate registration required:

AMFT ACSW APCC

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or crisis services preferred Experience facilitating therapy groups preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Knowledge of CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention preferred Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Must successfully complete Live Scan/background clearance Schedule Full-time On-site in Downey, CA Schedule may include weekdays and/or weekend coverage based on program needs Location This is a fully on-site position located in Downey, California 90242 . Applicants should have reliable transportation and the ability to consistently report to the facility as scheduled.
