Job Description

Job Overview The Project ImPACT Provider works directly with the child and caregiver to teach caregivers evidence-based strategies that support the child's social engagement, communication, imitation, and play skills within everyday routines and activities.
Minimum Education Qualifications:
The Project ImPACT Provider must possess: Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in child development, early childhood education, special education, psychology, social work, counseling, communication disorders, human development, or another closely related field appropriate to early-intervention services Education, knowledge, or professional experience related to infant and toddler development Completed the required Project ImPACT training and fidelity process through a verified training source. Advanced training and fidelity verification through the national Project ImPACT program developers; Training and fidelity verification through the BRIDGE Collaborative or an associated research project; or Training and fidelity verification through an agency trainer who holds current national Project ImPACT certification and is qualified to train and evaluate staff fidelity. Preferred Experience At least one year of experience working with infants, toddlers, young children, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience providing caregiver coaching, parent education, early-intervention services, developmental services, or home-based services. Experience supporting children with social-communication delays, autism-related concerns, developmental delays, or difficulties with engagement, imitation, communication, or play. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary early-intervention teams. Bilingual Preferred Essential Job Duties The Project ImPACT Provider shall: Conduct an initial family-centered review to identify the child's current social engagement, communication, imitation, and play skills and the caregiver's priorities, routines, strengths, and coaching needs. Develop individualized Project ImPACT intervention objectives that are directly connected to the child's developmental outcomes and the family's daily routines. Deliver Project ImPACT according to the approved curriculum, sequence, coaching model, and fidelity requirements. Caregiver practice, observation, feedback, reflection, and collaborative problem-solving. Support caregivers in using intervention strategies during naturally occurring routines, including play, meals, dressing, community activities, transitions, and other family-selected activities. Individualize the activities and coaching methods according to the child's developmental level, family priorities, culture, language, learning style, and daily routines. Observe and measure the child's response to intervention and the caregiver's understanding and use of the taught strategies. Collect objective data and maintain documentation sufficient to evaluate progress Modify intervention activities and coaching supports when data, caregiver feedback, or direct observation indicate that changes are needed. Maintain Project ImPACT fidelity and participate in fidelity observations, consultation, coaching, retraining, or corrective action when required. Participate in team consultations, transition planning, case reviews, and discharge planning when requested or authorized. Provide services in the child's home or another natural environment unless another arrangement is approved. Maintain professional boundaries and provide services within the employee's education, training, competency, and assigned role. Follow all agency policies concerning confidentiality, informed consent, mandated reporting, health and safety, professional conduct, incident reporting, and protection from abuse and neglect. Complete all required documentation accurately and within agency timelines.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
