Duties Develop tailored training plans focused on improving daily living skills, communication, and social interaction for individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Provide direct support during activities such as teaching personal care (i.e., cooking, brushing teeth, etc.,) and facilitating participation in community outings, or recreational activities or home routines. Use evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior change and skill acquisition, including data collection and progress tracking. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in the adaptive skills training plans. Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, client progress, and incident reports in compliance with agency policies. Ensure safety protocols are followed by providing first aid or CPR when necessary and responding promptly to emergencies. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Experience supporting clients with cognitive disabilities in home or community settings. Familiarity with data collection methods for tracking progress. Ability to communicate effectively. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to caregiving or behavioral support are beneficial. Required Valid driver's license or Identification. Fingerprint Clearance FBI and DOJ. TB Test/ Clearance.
