DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(include but are not limited to):
RBT/BCBA
Providing 1:1 assistance to the client in either the school, home, clinic, or community location to meet treatment goals and/or IEP goals. Work closely with teachers and parents to follow procedures to best assist the client. Work with Supervisors which may include BCBA to review, gather data, and implement necessary Behavior Intervention Plans. Skills in timely completion of documentation Experience working with children and young adults, particularly in a clinic or school setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Mental Health, Speech and Occupational therapists. Participate in in-service trainings when necessary in the school setting
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

RBT:
Minimum 1 year experience as a Classroom Aide, Paraprofessional, or as a Behavior Therapist or Registered Behavior Therapist. Bachelor's Degree BA/BS in a related field (i.e. Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Child Development, or Social Sciences), OR RBT certification, is preferred but not required. Willingness to work a flexible schedule - and understanding there may be periods of no work due to school holidays and breaks. Willingness to go into a school setting, home setting and/or clinic setting to support students 1:1. Current locations are in Sacramento to Placerville .
