Work Environment The role is entirely remote, allowing you to practice from your chosen environment while utilizing our sophisticated telehealth systems. Our virtual practice model leverages cutting-edge technology to facilitate seamless communication between therapists and clients, making it easier to provide interventions and support from anywhere. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, including weekend on-call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorders, analyzing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to develop effective treatment strategies. Create individualized treatment plans that align with each client's specific needs, goals, and personal history, ensuring a personalized therapeutic approach. Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address various mental health challenges. Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, therapeutic interventions, and self-care practices, fostering a supportive and informed community. Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal effectiveness and address any new developments in their mental health journey. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care for clients with complex needs, promoting comprehensive treatment outcomes. Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments and therapeutic practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with clients facing various mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and effects of trauma. Your expertise will support individuals of diverse backgrounds and complexities, enriching their healing process through tailored advocacy and evidence-based therapy. Qualifications Must hold a current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. Ability to build secure and trusting relationships with clients through exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach to client experiences and struggles. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations and various mental health challenges is highly preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology, enhancing virtual therapy sessions. Previous experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT and DBT, would be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses.
