We are a team of Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Associate Therapists. We are seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist to provide individual, couples and family therapy in our beautiful beach-close office. This is a group private practice setting where you will be able to market yourself as well as receive referrals from colleagues to maintain your caseload on a schedule that you create. The ideal candidate will be a team player and be open, willing and excited to work with individuals, couples, children, parents and families. This is a paid, hourly position with incentives and room for growth. Applicants with in-person availability and those with clinical specialties will be given preference. Clinical Supervision for Associates will be provided.
Requirements for the position include:
  • Graduate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or related field.
  • Licensed MFT or Registered Associate from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to adults and children.
  • Willingness to see clients in office and/or via Telehealth.
  • Availability to build up to and maintain at least 10 client hours per week.
Additional desired characteristics include:
  • A high level of motivation and initiative towards establishing a flourishing private practice caseload.
  • Experience working in a private practice setting.
  • Experience in marketing and outreach practices.
  • Training and experience in the following treatment modalities: DBT, ACT, CBT, EMDR, IFS, Somatic Therapies and Psychodynamic treatments or any other specialized treatment modalities.
  • Experience and training in the treatment of eating disorders highly preferred.
  • Experience with treating couples, children and adolescents.
