Behavior Technician A family is seeking a reliable and compassionate 1:1 Behavior Technician (senior-level) for a young adult with autism. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and experienced in ABA (1+ year preferred). RBT certification is preferred. Training and ongoing support are provided by a BCBA.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to a young adult man with severe autism and seizure disorder Support development of communication and social skills Follow a daily schedule of home and community-based activities Support independence in leisure skills and household tasks (e.g., chores, personal hygiene) Accompany and support community activities (e.g., horseback riding, hikes, exercise, shopping) Assist with building job skills in volunteer settings Provide transportation in personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)

Requirements:

At least one year of experience in an ABA setting Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, clear driving record, and auto insurance with 100/300 limits or 300 CSL Ability to make a minimum 1-year commitment RBT certification preferred Schedule & Pay Part-time position: Monday, Friday and Saturday @ 10:30-4:30 $40/hour Employment is contingent upon completion of required pre-employment clearances, including a background check and TB clearance.
