Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to each inmate's needs and level of functioning. Document all treatment activities and evaluations in health care records while maintaining strict confidentiality. Provide psychological counseling using sound theories and techniques appropriate for your caseload. Deliver crisis intervention and mental health support to address immediate inmate needs. Collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective mental health care delivery. What You Need Valid state licensure or certification as a mental health professional Experience in mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to perform duties at a pace consistent with job requirements About the Assignment This position is with a leading facility in Las Animas, Colorado, providing mental health services to inmates.
