This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in neuroscience, mental health, and brain-based approaches who would like to develop specialized expertise in neurofeedback. Previous neurofeedback experience is strongly valued, but we are also open to the right candidate who has a relevant background and a strong desire to learn. We are particularly interested in finding someone who wants to grow with our program. For the right person, there is opportunity for increased hours, advanced training, board certification, and potentially a full-time position as the program continues to grow. This is a neurofeedback-only position and does not include a psychotherapy caseload. The Role As a Neurofeedback Technician, you will work directly with children, adolescents, and adults receiving neurofeedback services.

Responsibilities include:

Provide neurofeedback sessions according to established treatment protocols Prepare clients for sessions, including appropriate sensor/electrode placement and equipment setup Monitor neurofeedback sessions and client response throughout treatment Recognize and minimize artifact and other factors that may affect session data Document client response, session data, and relevant observations accurately and promptly in the electronic health record Communicate relevant observations or concerns to the clinician responsible for the client's neurofeedback treatment Maintain client privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice policies Maintain neurofeedback equipment and treatment spaces and assist with basic troubleshooting Participate in ongoing training, consultation, and professional development Collaborate with the neurofeedback and clinical teams to provide thoughtful, consistent client care With additional training and demonstrated competency, there may also be opportunities to develop skills in QEEG acquisition, QEEG artifacting, brain map preparation, and other advanced neurofeedback functions.

Our ideal candidate:

Has experience providing neurofeedback or a strong interest in developing expertise in the field Has a background in psychology, counseling, social work, neuroscience, healthcare, behavioral health, or another related field Is comfortable working directly with children, adolescents, and adults Is detail-oriented and able to follow treatment protocols consistently Is comfortable learning technical equipment and software Has strong observation and communication skills Is reliable, professional, and able to work independently while knowing when to seek consultation Is interested in ongoing professional development Is excited about the possibility of growing into a larger role as our neurofeedback program expands Previous neurofeedback experience and/or formal neurofeedback training is required. Having a professional license is preferred (LPCC, LPC, LCSW). Training & Professional Development Restoration Hope is committed to developing excellent neurofeedback professionals. Training will be provided based on the successful candidate's existing experience and skill level. For an employee who demonstrates strong performance and a desire to make neurofeedback a long-term professional focus, Restoration Hope may also provide approved advanced training, including training toward BCIA Board Certification in Neurofeedback and QEEG artifacting. Schedule The anticipated starting schedule is: Monday-Thursday | approximately 2:30-7:00 PM Approximately 18 hours per week to start. We would especially love to find someone who is interested in increasing their hours over time and potentially transitioning into a full-time neurofeedback position as our program grows. Compensation Starting compensation is based on experience. This position also has the potential for increased compensation based on experience, advanced training, certification, and increased responsibility.
