In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, primarily treating children and adolescents while supporting their families. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health , develop coping strategies, and achieve overall well-being. Responsibilities include Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and play based therapy Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively and ensure client safety, while referring clients to appropriate levels of care. Facilitate intake processes for new clients, including medical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and detailed patient records management Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating social work/counseling principles, behavior management techniques, and case management strategies Provide specialized counseling for issues such as selective mutism, feeding difficulties, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care in outpatient clinics or inpatient settings while maintaining accurate medical terminology documentation and CPT coding for billing purposes Utilize telehealth platforms to extend access to mental health services while adhering to all regulatory standards Experience Proven experience in clinical counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings with a focus on behavioral health or mental health therapy Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and play based therapy Hands-on experience working with children and adolescents Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing procedures Familiarity with crisis management protocols and crisis intervention techniques for managing acute mental health episodes, while referring to appropriate level of care Experience conducting intake assessments and developing individualized treatment plans aligned with HIPAA regulations Telehealth experience is preferred to support remote patient care delivery effectively Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health services and experience managing medical records securely License eligible clinicians welcomed to apply (clinical & supervision complete, exam complete or scheduled) Join us in making a meaningful difference!
