Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized trauma-focused therapy to children and adolescents, helping them process and recover from traumatic experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working within a collaborative, evidence-based environment committed to excellence in mental health care. Responsibilities Deliver EMDR therapy sessions tailored to clients' unique needs, focusing on trauma resolution and emotional regulation Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based practices such as EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support client recovery Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Requirements Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field; licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) Proven experience delivering EMDR therapy with individuals experiencing PTSD or trauma-related disorders Strong background in psychotherapy modalities including trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and grief counseling Familiarity with
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards Experience working with children and adolescents.
