Position Overview We are seeking a licensed therapist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families and is interested in specializing in LENS neurofeedback. This role will have a strong LENS neurofeedback focus , and the clinician hired will receive training in LENS neurofeedback as part of the position. The clinician will also have the opportunity to learn directly from Rebecca Halbert, LCSW , who has been using LENS neurofeedback in clinical practice since 2021. This includes gaining hands-on insight from her five years of experience integrating LENS into therapy to help clients achieve meaningful results. Referrals may include clients across the lifespan , including children, adolescents, and adults, depending on clinical needs. This position is ideal for a clinician who values thoughtful, individualized care and ongoing professional growth within a supportive practice environment. In This Role You Will Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults Administer LENS neurofeedback sessions as part of client care Support families through parent sessions and collaborative care when appropriate Work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, and emotional dysregulation Maintain a thoughtful, client-centered and results-oriented approach to treatment Collaborate with our team to maintain a supportive and professional practice culture Qualifications Licensed therapist in Connecticut (LCSW, LMFT or LPC) Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families Interest in learning and integrating LENS neurofeedback into clinical work Interest in or experience with evidence-based practices (EMDR or other modalities welcomed but not required) Strong clinical judgment supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, and dysregulation Comfortable utilizing technology and clinical tools in practice Organized and able to manage an independent caseload Collaborative, dependable, and communicative This Position May Be a Great Fit If You… Enjoy working with children, teens, and families Are curious about brain-based and nervous-system-based approaches to therapy Want the opportunity to learn LENS neurofeedback and expand your clinical skill set Value high-quality care rather than high client volume Are looking to grow your caseload gradually rather than needing full-time hours immediately Enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive practice environment Additional Details Part-time 1099 contractor position with opportunity to grow into a fuller caseload Competitive pay rate of $120-$180 per hour , depending on experience and clinical responsibilities Private-pay practice model allowing clinicians to maintain smaller caseloads and focus on high-quality care Flexible scheduling as you build your caseload LENS neurofeedback training provided , with the opportunity to learn directly from Rebecca Halbert, LCSW Primarily in-person in Westport Supportive, collaborative environment that values clinician growth and professional development Why Join The Wave Effect?
