In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals through evidence-based practices. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, dance therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and psychopharmacology support when appropriate Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes Provide specialized counseling for issues including PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, chronic pain management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation and accurate medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans and coordinate care with medical professionals for integrated patient support Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions and expand access to mental health services Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to evidence-based practices Participate in intake assessments to evaluate client history, needs, and treatment goals while applying ICD coding for proper documentation Experience Valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent credentialing required Proven experience providing psychotherapy across diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and crisis intervention techniques Experience working in outpatient clinics or inpatient settings with exposure to hospital environments preferred Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnosis documentation and CPT coding for billing purposes Strong background in medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices Prior telehealth experience is highly desirable to facilitate remote service delivery effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information Ability to handle complex cases involving addiction recovery, grief processing, gender issues counseling, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Join us if you are eager to apply your clinical expertise within a vibrant team committed to transforming lives through compassionate mental health care.
