Job description:

LaVante' N. Dorsey & Associates, LLC is looking for a Part Time therapist for the 2026/2027 school year, to work within our partner school working with elementary aged students. The schedule would be Monday-Friday 9am-1pm within the school. The candidate can also obtain a full day schedule by seeing clients within our outpatient mental health practice.

Dorsey & Associates is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of mental health problems in children, adolescents, adults, and families. Assess and evaluate adults/adolescents/children experiencing symptoms of a behavioral health disorder. Analyze and evaluate patient data/information and test or examine findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorder(s). Direct psychotherapeutic treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Design/participate in the development of individualized service plans, using a variety of treatments. Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patient's conditions and treatment when clinically appropriate. Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, reports and summaries Work within a team environment with elementary school children. Conduct therapeutic groups and socio-emotional education for classrooms within the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

At least 1 year outpatient therapy experience Strong diagnosing and clinical documentation skills Highly organized and efficient a must!
