In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and feeding to promote independence and skill development Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical records, treatment notes, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members about progress and challenges Provide direct behavioral therapy in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency across environments Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management strategies, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving functional independence Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Experience working in home-based settings or school environments is a plus Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Join our team to empower individuals through compassionate care, innovative behavioral strategies, and dedicated support.
