Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapy protocols, support clients in achieving their goals, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans aligned with the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Collect and analyze behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development. Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement behavior management strategies to support clients in reducing challenging behaviors and increasing adaptive skills. Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates, education, and support for home-based interventions. Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts to develop, review, and update care plans tailored to each client's needs. Skills Experience working with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education strategies. Strong data collection skills to track behavioral progress accurately during therapy sessions. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention protocols effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities. Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and ethical compliance consistent with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
