Reprieve Recovery Center is a dynamic outpatient substance use treatment program providing PHP, IOP, and OP services. We are seeking an experienced, engaging, and clinically skilled Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic groups within a substance use and mental health treatment program. The ideal candidate is confident facilitating groups, comfortable working with clients experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns, and able to create a structured, supportive, and clinically appropriate group environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed or experienced behavioral health professional who enjoys group work and wants to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities Facilitate engaging, structured therapeutic groups for clients receiving substance use and mental health treatment. Lead psychoeducational, process, relapse-prevention, coping-skills, and other clinically appropriate groups. Utilize evidence-based approaches and interventions to support client engagement and behavioral change. Create a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented group environment. Encourage participation while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries. Recognize and appropriately address changes in client presentation, emotional distress, or safety concerns. Collaborate with therapists, clinical leadership, case management, and other members of the treatment team. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with program and regulatory requirements. Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical boundaries. Follow program policies, procedures, and clinical expectations. Requirements Experience facilitating behavioral health, substance use, or mental health groups. Strong communication, interpersonal, and group-management skills. Ability to establish rapport while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries. Ability to manage group dynamics effectively and maintain a structured clinical environment. Professionalism, reliability, and strong clinical judgment.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Active Florida behavioral health license or credential such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or licensed/registered intern status . Experience working in PHP, IOP, residential, or other substance use treatment settings. Knowledge of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, relapse prevention, trauma-informed care, and/or other evidence-based practices . Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
