A Day in the Life of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) As a Registered Behavior Technician, you play an essential role in helping our clients reach their goals. You work one-on-one with children at home, at school, and in the community, delivering kid-centered ABA therapy through games, play, and everyday routines. You follow the treatment plan your BCBA designed, collect data in real time on ABA Matrix, and write a clear session note before you head to your next family. Because we build your caseload around your availability and your neighborhood, your schedule works for you. You are never on your own. Your BCBA visits your sessions every month to coach you in the moment, answer your questions, and celebrate the wins with you. Each day brings new challenges and new breakthroughs, like a first word, a calm transition, or a caregiver who thanks you by name, and you find real fulfillment in knowing your work changes a child's life. What Would You Be Doing? Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Teaches communication, social, play, and daily living skills through play-based and naturalistic ABA. Collects accurate data in real time and completes session notes in ABA Matrix within 24 hours. Responds to challenging behavior using the strategies in the behavior plan. Checks in and out of every session at the point of care. Communicates professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and the treatment team. Participates in monthly supervision and ongoing training. Maintains client confidentiality and follows DM policies and the RBT Ethics Code. What Do You Bring to the Role?

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification:

Willingness to complete the 40-hour RBT training and certify within 180 days of hire.

Transportation:

Valid Florida driver license, reliable car, and auto insurance.

Technology:

A tablet or laptop for session notes.

Physical Requirements:
