Job Description
Are you a Gottman-trained therapist or skilled in evidence-based couples counseling? Do you feel called to help marriages heal, thrive, and reflect the love of Christ? Abundant Living Counseling of Rome is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or fully licensed LPC or LCSW with specialized training and experience in marriage and couples therapy, ideally with background in the Gottman Method or other attachment-based, trauma-informed models. This is more than a job—it's a calling.

We integrate professional therapy with Biblical truth, and we create a peaceful, supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.Position Highlights:
Specialty Focus:
You'll work primarily with couples navigating communication breakdown, infidelity recovery, emotional disconnection, and attachment wounds.Training Preference:
Advanced training in The Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or similar couples-based modalities is strongly preferred.Caseload:
25-30 sessions/week, with a steady stream of referralsSchedule:
Must include two evenings OR one evening andSaturdays Compensation:
$65- 83 per session (W2)

Meet You If You:
Have a heart for healing marriages and restoring emotional connection Integrate faith and spirituality in sessions with sensitivity and grace Have advanced couples therapy training, such as: Gottman Level 1 or 2 EFT Attachment-based models Enjoy autonomy with the backing of a warm, collaborative team Are excellent with time management, documentation, and tech Know that therapy is a calling, not just a careerRequirements:
Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work Fully licensed in Georgia (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience Strong experience working with marriage, premarital, or couples therapyBonus:
