Overview:

Piedmont Eastside, Behavioral Health, Full time Days Our 62-bed Behavioral Health Unit is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians to care for patients with psychiatric illnesses. Our recovery-oriented program provides opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative care environment. 62-bed Inpatient Psychiatric Center Adult Psych Unit (ages 18- 64) Geriatric Psych Unit (ages 65 and older.) (Patients in this unit requires assistance with all aspects of daily living -Total Care) Intensive Outpatient Program ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) Social Workers are expected to conduct group therapy, psychosocial assessments, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities:

Provide Psychiatric and/or Chemical Dependency counseling services to the patients admitted to Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health inpatient units.

Qualifications:

Education Master's Degree Required Work Experience 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, either inpatient or outpatient /partial hospital setting addressing both psychiatric and chemical dependency issues with clients. A minimum of two years of supervised experience in psychiatric setting or addictive disease treatment setting Required or 3 years of continuous active recovery in twelve step program Required Licenses and Certifications Professional certification and/or licensure as LCSW; LMSW; LMFT; LPC or actively pursuing such certification and/or licensure with projected completion within 2.5 years of hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification Upon Hire Required and CPI certification within 90
