We are looking for a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about strengthening individuals, families, and communities. Position Summary Under the direction of the Behavioral Health Director, the LMFT provides high-quality counseling and mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. You will play a key role in helping patients navigate life challenges, improve relationships, and achieve emotional wellbeing. Why You'll Love Working Here 🌺 Supportive, mission-driven team environment 🤝 Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model 📚 Opportunities for professional growth and development ❤️ Meaningful work serving diverse and underserved communities 🌍 Culture rooted in Aloha, respect, and compassion What You'll Do You will: Provide marital, family, and individual counseling (including relationship, premarital, separation, and child counseling) Conduct assessments using interviews, observations, and standardized tools Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral conditions Identify and address communication and relationship patterns Help patients develop healthier coping strategies and behaviors Create and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with patients on post-treatment and wellness goals Coordinate care with internal teams and external resources Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinical and billing standards Participate in interdisciplinary team care and case coordination What We're Looking For 🎓 Education & Experience Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related mental health field Minimum 3 years of post-degree clinical experience (preferred) 📜 Licensure Current Hawaiʻi LMFT license (required) Key Skills & Strengths We're looking for someone who: Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and cultural sensitivity Communicates clearly and works well within a team Uses strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Maintains professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Can manage a dynamic caseload in a fast-paced environment Values diversity and promotes an inclusive workplace Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office/clinic-based setting Extended periods sitting, computer use, and patient interaction Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs Exposure to clinical environments and patient conditions Requires strong emotional resilience and ability to work with sensitive situations Confidentiality & Professional Responsibility This role requires strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
