Job Description
Where You'll Work From primary to specialty care, as well as walk-in and virtual services, CHI Health Clinic delivers more options and better access so you can spend time on what matters: being healthy. We offer more than 20 specialties and 100 convenient locations; with some clinics offering extended hours. Job Summary and Responsibilities Sign on bonus: $2,500 As an Independent Mental Health Therapist, you will provide compassionate and effective psychotherapy and counseling services to clients managing mental health challenges.
Every day you will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and maintain clinical documentation while managing your caseload.
To be successful, you will demonstrate expert clinical judgment, strong therapeutic communication, and a commitment to professional development, ensuring high-quality, independent client care. Independently evaluates and/or assesses the bio-psycho-social needs of patients, and treats mental health disorders by conducting therapy sessions with patients utilizing various treatment modalities such as individual, group, family and/or significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals and provide crisis intervention when needed. Develops and maintains a positive professional relationship with clients, peers, coworkers, and members of the community. Maintains open, therapeutic communication with peers, patients, and the patient's family. Maintains strict standards of ethical behavior including the confidentiality of all patient affairs. Must have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural environment. Documents clinical services (i.e., evaluations/assessments, progress notes, group notes, treatment plan, discharge summaries, etc) that reflect progress toward goals as established in the treatment plan in accordance with departmental record keeping policy, procedure and licensure standards. Collaborates, consults, refers and coordinates treatment and discharge/after-care services with departmental treatment team, other internal programs, and external agencies and significant others having joint interest in meeting the needs of the client in a timely manner. Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth, assures compliance with all annual competencies, and fulfills yearly education requirements in order to maintain an active license. Participates in all mandatory safety, security and infection control programs, as well as those required and provided by the department. Assists in ensuring that there is timely reimbursement for services rendered: providing information for utilization reviews, obtaining proper authorizations, assisting in providing documentation for third party payment, and maintaining currency of patient demographics and insurance information as necessary. Job Requirements Required Masters Other in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing or other related behavioral health field

Independent Mental Health Practitioner/Counselor:
