LISW Behavioral Health Therapist Location:
Ottumwa, IA Schedule :
Full-Time Make a real clinical impact beyond the therapy room, and have an influential voice in our interdisciplinary teams. We're looking for a Licensed Therapist who wants more than a traditional outpatient role. This position blends direct therapy with hands-on collaboration across home-and community-based services (HCBS), substance use programs (SUD), and behavioral health intervention services (BHIS) by supporting individuals with complex, whole-person behavioral health needs.

What You'll Do Provide individual and family therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and development of clinically appropriate, billable treatment plans. Support individuals with complex behavioral health needs, including mental health and substance use, across programs by collaborating with their interdisciplinary teams to develop and guide practical, trauma-informed behavioral strategies (including behavioral plans) that staff can implement in real time. Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches to support meaningful outcomes. Serve as a clinical resource to staff, offering consultation, education, and support around mental health, substance use, crisis response, and skill-building approaches. Contribute to a culture of person-centered, recovery-oriented care. Grow as a ClinicianLeader Opportunity to provide clinical supervision to support the development of future therapists (based on licensure). Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Active Iowa Licensure (LISW) Strong clinical judgement and ability to work with individuals with complex needs.
