CODES, the listed rate is an average for most employees. Starting pay is depending on experience level. Raises may occur at 90 days with less training required, and with a full caseload. General Accountabilities Interact with clients to assist them in achieving effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment. Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues. Diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials. Counsel individuals, families and groups regarding problems, such as depression, anxiety, divorce, trauma, behavior disorders and family situations. Utilize play therapy modalities with children and families. Help to modify behavior or to improve personal, social, and vocational adjustment. Discuss the treatment of problems with clients. Write reports on clients and maintain required paperwork. Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses. Develop and implement individual treatment plans. Observe individuals to detect indications of mental deficiency, abnormal behavior, or maladjustment. Monitor and review progress through Child Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessments and treatment reviews. Manage timely documentation as required by our insurance contracts. Requirements Ideal candidate will have experience with Medicaid documentation. CANS certification and experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or LMFT as well as be licensed to provide therapy in Idaho. All licensing requirements need to be current. Must pass a criminal history background check through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
