Licensed Clinical Supervisor PURPOSE :
The Bilingual Community Mental Health Therapist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical services to clients and their families in their natural setting
  • the community.
This includes the provision of individual, family, group therapies, assessment,planning, community support, discharge planning, interdisciplinary teamwork and community liaison.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties may be assigned) Develop and maintain an active caseload, providing individual, group, family, and adjunctive therapies as needed and within area of expertise and limits of credentials; assure procurement of additional services as needed Works with clients and staff in developing and implementing person-centered individual treatment plans which address psychological/behavioral issues Collaborates with other service providers as necessary (i.e., inpatient psychiatrists, and primary care physicians) through client-centered consultation. Attends all required staff organizational meetings and treatment planning meetings in order to facilitate an integrated, interdisciplinary team approach to service Maintains compliance with all applicable practice standards and guidelines Maintains client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA requirements at all times Pursue and participate in continuing education activities, remaining knowledgeable in area(s) of expertise Attend meetings as appropriate and meet regularly with supervisor to exchange pertinent information and receive supervision Maintain a high level of ethical conduct regarding confidentiality, dual-relationships and professional stature Monitor caseload to assure compliance for third-party payers including chart review, completing prior request, and precertification Completes all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with agency guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude and the ability to multitask Knowledge of Rule 132, psychological diagnosis and assessment, family systems therapy, separation and loss, physical/sexual abuse, trauma, individual and group therapies Demonstrated psycho-social assessment, treatment planning, advocacy skills and case management skills Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills Creativity/flexibility on delivery of services Clear understanding and sensitivity to serving a culturally diverse population. Basic typing AND computer literacy skills Experience with working with under-served, under-privileged, marginalized populations. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) eligible to provide services in the state of Illinois. The position requires the flexibility to work in a variety of different conditions, including working in various settings throughout the community and traveling to and from required work locations that may be less than optimal at times.
