In this role, you will implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols to support clients on the autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Responsibilities Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions based on individualized care plans aligned with ABA principles. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop, review, and update client care plans regularly. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of therapy goals and progress. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience assisting with ADLs, data collection, and implementing ABA therapy protocols in home or clinical settings. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation practices related to behavioral health. School or home-based behavioral experience is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds and support their individual needs.
