Job Description

At Trisha Johnson Therapy Group, our mission is to provide every client with the individualized support they need to facilitate personal healing and growth. But our mission doesn't stop there. The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct initial evaluations and provide ongoing individual, group, and/or family therapy, with a primary focus on children and adolescent populations. In addition, therapists will perform basic administrative tasks, including scheduling, record keeping, and client care.

Primary Responsibilities:

Providing initial evaluations and ongoing individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions for clients Scheduling of clients, including new referrals seeking their initial evaluation appointment Writing progress notes the same day services are performed Attending weekly supervision meetings with Clinical Director Communicating DCFS, self-harm, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and/or recommendations to a higher level of care to Clinical Director Other tasks related to the billable hour Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

Master's degree from an accredited university One or more of the following: MSW, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, Psy. D Minimum 3 years experience working in the field as a counselor, therapist, social worker, or another similar role as a mental health professional Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs such as Theranest Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, presentation, and resolution skills Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community Flexibility with changing priorities; ability to organize and prioritize a shifting workload
