Job Description
Nexus Mental Health is a Behavioral Therapy agency that specializes in school based therapy. We partner with school districts across central Indiana to provide low cost, high quality therapy to preschool through 12th grade students. We are hiring a contractor to provide in-school therapy at Beech Grove City Schools in Beech Grove, Indiana. All appointments will take place during school hours. Therapists will be provided about 30 hours of therapy per week with opportunities to work more. As a contractor, you will be setting your own schedule. Nexus will equip you with the tools you need to succeed, but we also believe in getting out of your way! We want you to spend your time providing therapy to students, not wasting it on unnecessary paperwork or meetings. Requirements Master's degree in social work, psychology, or mental health therapy. Computer or mobile device capable of accessing our document management website. Ability to pass criminal and DCS background checks. Responsibilities Provide cognitive behavioral therapy to pre-k through 12th grade students. Complete all required documentation in a timely manner. Provide outstanding therapy to clients using best practice methodology. Build rapport with clients and families to deliver the best possible quality of care. Meet performance objectives. Draft and maintain Treatment Plans that address client needs. Meet professionalism standards in attitude and communication with all parties.
