Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic clinical team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their mental health goals through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively and ensure client safety. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, including progress notes, medical records, and treatment planning documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, or autism spectrum conditions. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, and clinical documentation standards. Strong knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management techniques. Expertise in child & family counseling, pediatric mental health issues, and youth therapy modalities. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, EMR/EHR systems, and medical terminology related to mental health care. Skilled in trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD care approaches. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Ability to conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning effectively within outpatient or inpatient settings. Knowledge of special education needs and experience working with children in clinical or school environments is a plus. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care across diverse populations including geriatrics and gender issues counseling. Pay:
$35.00 - $43.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
