Position Purpose Purpose:

Provides evidence-based, trauma-informed assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families to address behavioral-health needs, strengthen family functioning, and support measurable treatment goals. 2. Essential Duties and Service Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments, risk screenings, and ongoing clinical assessments within scope of practice.
• Develop, review, and update person-centered treatment plans with clients and legally authorized representatives.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approaches.
• Provide crisis assessment, stabilization, safety planning, and referrals consistent with training, licensure, and OTS procedures.
• Coordinate care with case managers, schools, medical providers, community partners, and other authorized members of the treatment team.
• Facilitate psychoeducation and document clinical services, medical necessity, progress, and discharge planning.
• Serve clients with developmental disabilities or autism only within demonstrated competence and approved scope.

Client-service responsibilities:

Provide clinically appropriate, person- and family-centered services; obtain informed consent; involve clients in treatment decisions; address risk; and support continuity, transition, and discharge planning.

Documentation responsibilities:

Complete accurate, objective, timely, and legible records in the designated system. Document services, progress, contacts, decisions, risks, referrals, incidents, and required follow-up within OTS, licensing, Medicaid, payer, and program timelines. Correct errors according to policy; never falsify, backdate, or copy unsupported information.
