Job Description

ABA Therapy/RBT/RLT Pelican Pediatric Therapy is a pediatric therapy clinic that provides ABA Therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis) services as well as Speech Therapy. If you are interested in working in a field with children, with special needs, or learn about behavior, then this is the place for you! We are wanting to expand and are currently looking to fill a part time RBT (registered behavior technician) positions in our Shreveport clinic.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements. Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior. Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. Maintain client confidentiality. We require that you have a love for children, especially those with special needs! We want you to be fun and creative, someone who is able to be a kid with these kids. However, we also need someone who will is coachable, ready to learn, respectful, and organized. We believe that kids learn by play, and so we try to make therapy as fun as possible! Experience required. We look forward to you joining our fun!
