In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to promote meaningful progress through evidence-based behavioral interventions. Duties Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in treatment delivery Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene, to promote independence and self-care skills Collect and record precise behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care coordination and client engagement Maintain accurate documentation of medical records, progress notes, and adherence to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and compliance Participate in ongoing training related to applied behavior analysis, ethical standards, and best practices for working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially within home-based or school settings, is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols is essential Familiarity with assisting clients with ADLs and supporting autism spectrum disorders is a strong asset Background in special education, behavioral health, or related fields enhances your ability to succeed in this role Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or developmental disabilities demonstrates your commitment to client-centered care Understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and medical records management ensures compliance and professionalism Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and use it effectively to guide intervention strategies Join us as an RBT Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist if you are passionate about making a positive impact on lives through dedicated care, behavioral expertise, and compassionate support.
