Mental Health Therapist People Encouraging People is an organization driven by our core values. Our programs provide a wide range of services, from rehabilitation, to assistance for the deaf and blind, to residential and vocational ventures aimed at assimilating our clients into the community.

Make a Real Impact—Beyond the Therapy OfficeAre you a therapist who wants to do more than sit in an office all day? Join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team and help individuals with serious mental illness live independently, stay out of the hospital, and build meaningful lives in their communities.

This is not traditional outpatient therapy. ACT is hands-on, team-based, and deeply impactful work—w every day is different, and your support meets clients w they are.

What You'll Do
  • Provide community-based mental health services in homes, shelters, and other real-world settings
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (psychiatry, nursing, case management, peer support)
  • Share responsibility for a team caseload—no isolated practiceSupport clients with:o Symptom managemento Crisis interventiono Housing stabilityo Substance use recoveryo Daily living skillsWhy This Role Is Different

  • Licensed (or license-eligible) (LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfort working in community settings and adapting to changing situations
