Job Description

Job Summary The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) plays a vital role in providing mental health support and services to individuals with various needs, including those with autism and other disabilities. This position involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, offering individual and group counseling, and implementing therapeutic interventions. The QMHP will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote mental well-being and enhance quality of life.
Shift:
8am to 430pm, NO Weekends Duties Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health concerns. Provide direct support to individuals with autism and other disabilities. Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health status. Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each client's needs. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including psychotherapy, art therapy, and telehealth services. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress. Requirements Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field . Valid QMHP certification or licensure as required by state regulations. Experience in individual group counseling and working with individuals with autism or disabilities is preferred. Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and psychopharmacology. Proficiency in providing therapy, including telehealth services. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in mental health care.
