Working under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), you will provide behavioral health services within an innovative, integrated treatment center serving adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Our multidisciplinary team works together to improve quality of life through clinical excellence, housing stability, recovery support, and person-centered care. What You'll Do As a Clinical Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience while receiving supervision from an LPCC by: Conducting individual therapy sessions Completing Diagnostic Assessments (DAs) under supervision Developing treatment plans and clinical documentation Collaborating with therapists, SUD counselors, ARMHS practitioners, PRSS staff, and housing case managers Participating in multidisciplinary staffing and treatment planning Coordinating care across behavioral health, housing, medical, and community supports Learning integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Supporting clients in achieving recovery, stability, and improved functioning Qualifications Master's degree completed or actively enrolled in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or closely related field Eligible to practice as a Clinical Trainee in Minnesota Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong written and verbal communication skills Passion for serving individuals experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, homelessness, or other barriers to care Preferred Experience working with co-occurring disorders Knowledge of trauma-informed care Motivational Interviewing experience CBT, DBT, ACT, or Solution-Focused Therapy training Experience in community behavioral health This paid Clinical Trainee position offers an exciting pathway to deepen your clinical expertise while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
