Job Summary:
Day Treatment Aides provide support to the multidisciplinary treatment team and clients served in the day treatment program. The primary responsibility of the Aide is to support the treatment team staff (under the guidance of the mental health professional and mental health practitioner) to implement individual day treatment plans in order to achieve client goals in the treatment room.
Position Overview:
Duties include providing interventions and support that enhance program participants' success; supporting functional development skills: coordinating the organization and maintenance of the treatment room environment; and maintaining the appropriate records and reports to support successful treatment for program participants. Doherty Students/Aides will also have exposure to speech and language therapy and occupational therapy.
