Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Mental Health Therapist to join our group therapy private practice. In this role, you will provide evidence-based mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral therapy, to diverse populations. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and behavior management strategies. Provide a variety of therapy modalities depending on your interest and area of focus. Implement crisis management protocols and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during emergencies or acute episodes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards; ensure timely updates in EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and behavioral health interventions. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. We are open to hiring either a Licensed Therapist or a Licensure Candidate working on their supervised hours towards licensure. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, and grief counseling. Experience with telehealth therapy platforms and familiarity with clinical research methodologies is preferred. Ability to perform mental health assessments using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) and medical terminology accurately. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; proficiency in clinical documentation standards is essential.
