Support, Inc. is seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist to join our growing behavioral health team in Gastonia, NC. This unique position combines 20 hours/week in our Day Treatment program with 20 hours/week providing outpatient therapy , all within the same location and team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys working with children and adolescents in a more intensive setting while also maintaining an outpatient caseload. This position serves as the second therapist in the Day Treatment program , meaning the focus is primarily on providing therapy and clinical support—not carrying the administrative responsibilities of leading the program. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of meaningful, team-based work with youth and families who need real support—not just quick appointments and paperwork. What This Role Looks LikeDay Treatment (20 Hours) As the second therapist in the program, you will: Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents in Day Treatment Help stabilize youth experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges Support staff in implementing therapeutic interventions throughout the milieu Participate in crisis intervention and treatment planning Collaborate closely with families, schools, and community providers Help children build coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships Outpatient Therapy (20 Hours) You will also maintain an outpatient caseload within the same office location, allowing for: Greater continuity of care Variety in your clinical work A balanced schedule between intensive and traditional therapy services About Our Day Treatment Program Our Day Treatment program serves children and adolescents with complex behavioral health needs who require a higher level of support than traditional outpatient therapy alone.

Stabilization and symptom reduction Emotional regulation and coping skills Relationship building and social functioning Family engagement Reintegration into traditional school settings Services are individualized, trauma-informed, family-centered, and culturally responsive.
