Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Intensive In-Home Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Conduct thorough client assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and mental health screenings, to inform tailored treatment plans. Implement crisis intervention strategies promptly and effectively during emergency situations to ensure safety and stability. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to coordinate care plans and support systems. Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA standards and medical documentation protocols within electronic health records (EHR). Utilize motivational interviewing and conflict management skills to foster engagement and resolve challenges during therapy sessions. Collect data on client progress through regular monitoring and adjust interventions accordingly to maximize positive outcomes. Experience Proven experience working with children and adolescents in home-based or community settings, especially with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong background in behavioral health therapies including behavioral management, social work, psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care like PTSD treatment. Demonstrated proficiency in crisis management, case management, and client communication within a healthcare or social services environment. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential. Experience working with diverse populations requires cultural competency skills to effectively serve clients from various backgrounds. Knowledge of special education strategies and working with children with disabilities enhances your ability to deliver impactful interventions. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while adhering to clinical documentation standards and confidentiality requirements under HIPAA regulations.
