Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, trauma, and co-occurring disorders through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working in a supportive and innovative environment. All roles are compensated, including internships, ensuring your valuable contributions are recognized. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning. Deliver individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure quality patient care. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management services to stabilize clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems following clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in clinical research and data collection initiatives to support continuous improvement of therapeutic practices and outcomes. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, and clinical counseling across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques, behavior management strategies, and evidence-based practices for trauma-focused therapy and addiction counseling. Active North Carolina license in one of the following disciplines
- LCSW or LCSW-A
- LCMHC or LCMHC-A
- LCAS or LCAS-A
- LMFT or LMFT-A
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience providing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay:
$50,000.00- $65,000.
