Job Description

We are seeking licensed or associate-licensed mental health therapists (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA) for part-time and/or full-time 1099 contract opportunities providing outpatient mental health therapy to children and adolescents primarily within the school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents and be comfortable collaborating with families, school counselors, teachers, administrators, and other professionals involved in the student's care.
Pay:
$45.00-$60.00 per billable hour, based on licensure and experience. Eligible contractors may also receive up to a $1,000 onboarding and retention incentive. Services include, but are not limited to: Individual counseling and therapeutic support, Family counseling, education, and support as clinically appropriate Initial intake assessments and Comprehensive Clinical Assessments Development and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans Crisis assessment, intervention, and safety planning when clinically indicated Case management and care coordination Collaboration and regular communication with school counselors, teachers, administrators, parents/guardians, and other treatment providers as clinically appropriate Participation in school-based mental health meetings and treatment team meetings when applicable Referrals to additional community resources and services as needed Electronic clinical documentation completed within required agency and payer timeframes Maintenance of confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and applicable ethical and professional standards
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable behavioral health discipline. Current North Carolina full or associate-level clinical licensure as one of the following:
LCSW/LCSWA, LCMHC/LCMHCA LMFT/LMFTA
Experience or demonstrated interest in providing mental health services to children and adolescents Ability to complete clinical assessments and individualized treatment plans Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage a school-based caseload Professional liability insurance Ability to successfully complete required background checks
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Previous school-based mental health experience Experience providing outpatient therapy to children and adolescents Training or experience in TF-CBT, CBT, Play therapy Credentialed in
