Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Provisional or Independent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing mental health team! Strengthen Mental Health has locations in both Fremont and Columbus; looking to hire immediately for the Columbus location! Flexible Scheduling, Competitive Percentage Earnings, and Independence in Practice! •Income range shown is expected hourly rate after percentage is taken out! •Must be willing to work 1 or 2 after school/evenings a week. Must be licensed In Nebraska, willing to be credentialed with Medicaids! In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate emotional challenges, manage mental health conditions, and achieve their personal wellness goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral management strategies. You will work in a supportive environment that values clinical excellence, ethical standards, and innovative treatment approaches. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Deliver individual and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or suicidal ideation, ensuring safety and appropriate referrals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including case management for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records following HIPAA guidelines. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with advances in mental health counseling, ICD coding updates (ICD-9/ICD-10), and best practices for behavioral health interventions. Experience Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW or equivalent) with active state certification.
