• Relocation assisstance can be negotiated Mission Field has an opening for a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Therapist at our inpatient treatment facility in Nebraska City, Nebraska and we are looking a full-time Primary Therapist who is interested in turning his/or her passion for recovery into a rewarding career!

Schedule will be days with one weekend day a week with some holidays. Our clinical team utilizes a holistic approach using best practice treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, Moticational Interviewing, Spirituality & Core Change, Psychodrama, Healthy Relationships, 12 Step Facilitation, and Trauma Recovery. For the right candidate, we will consider relocation assisstance. Responsibilities Counsel and advise individuals or groups with mental health and substance abuse disorders Develop and implement individual treatment plans Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties Educate families and groups on mental health/substance abuse treatments and prevention programs Facilitate recommendations of other healthcare or counseling professionals Properly and accurately document all treatment provided Knowledge of ASAM patient placement criteria and DSM-V Additional skills in group therapy facilitation, art or dance therapy are advantageous for providing comprehensive treatment options. Qualifications Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields Experience in building trust and rapport Compassionate and caring demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Licensure in Mental health-LMHP, LIMHP, LCSW including provisional is required. Dual licensure that includes Drug and Alcohol is preferred. Licensure State Licensure in Mental Health (or provisional license) is required. Those with Dual licensure in mental health and substance use preferred.

Pay:

$65,000.00
