Job Description

Outpatient Therapist - Child & Family Services Provide compassionate, trauma-informed clinical care to children and their families in our Outpatient Therapy program. As a Child & Family Outpatient Therapist, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy within a supportive, team-oriented outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family therapy specializing in work with children Complete clinical assessments and develop treatment plans using evidence-based approaches Coordinate care with internal programs, schools, pediatric providers, and community agencies Support clients and caregivers through trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate interventions Facilitate referrals and link families to community resources and supports Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Meet program standards for productivity, billing, and documentation compliance Participate in supervision, case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing training
Position Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work or related human services field Active New Jersey licensure required (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LAMFT, or LMFT) Experience working with children or providing child/family therapy strongly preferred Experience in outpatient mental health or trauma-informed care is a plus At JFS, you'll be part of a passionate, diverse team that's been making a real difference in the community for nearly 100 years.
