Intensive In-Home Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine clients' mental health needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' individual needs and goals
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
• Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in the field of therapy

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatments
• Understanding of psychopharmacology and its role in mental health treatment
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessment tools
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum
• Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation
• Ability to provide effective crisis intervention and deescalation techniques
• Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for addressing a variety of mental health concerns
