Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to gain a deep understanding of clients' mental health needs and to establish effective treatment plans. Provide individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's circumstances, promoting personal growth and mental well-being. Collaboratively develop therapeutic goals with clients, and monitor their progress throughout the therapy process. Facilitate telehealth sessions to meet the needs of clients who may have mobility challenges or prefer remote engagement. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to adhere to ethical standards and practice guidelines. Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions and workshops to stay abreast of the latest industry practices and trends. Patient Population / Client Focus The populations you will serve include individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and relational challenges. Your work will play a crucial role in the therapeutic process, helping clients navigate their struggles and reclaim their lives through effective counseling and support. By fostering secure, trusting therapeutic relationships, you will be instrumental in guiding clients towards recovery and sustained mental health improvement. Qualifications An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey. A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and expertise in mental health. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients. A compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental attitude, critical for effective client engagement. Excellent organizational and time management skills to facilitate efficient caseload management and administrative tasks. Preferred Experience A minimum of one year of experience providing therapy in clinical settings, particularly with diverse populations facing various mental health challenges. Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling practices is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from
USD 70,000
