You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, and collaborate closely with families to foster positive outcomes. Duties Deliver individualized therapeutic services including behavioral therapy, family therapy, child & youth counseling, and cognitive behavioral therapy within clients' homes. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients and motivate positive behavioral change. Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately following HIPAA standards and medical documentation protocols. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies and behavior management techniques to support clients with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across environments. Respond effectively to crisis situations through crisis intervention skills, ensuring safety and stability for clients. Collect data on client progress, document clinical notes thoroughly, and adhere to medical records standards for compliance and quality assurance. Provide culturally competent care that respects diverse backgrounds while working with children with disabilities or mental health needs. Participate in ongoing training related to home & community care practices, trauma-informed approaches like PTSD care, and specialized therapies such as art therapy or social work interventions. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification preferred. Proven experience working with children and families in home-based behavioral health settings. Strong knowledge of behavioral health interventions including applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and family therapy modalities. Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR) management, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards. Excellent skills in crisis management, conflict resolution, case management, and client communication. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly valued. Ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail in documentation standards. Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with diverse populations across different communities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for home visits.
