Work Environment This position will primarily be remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still delivering quality care. You will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals and collaborate in an outpatient office setting that is designed to be comfortable and welcoming for both clients and staff. Regular business hours will be complemented by occasional evening shifts, ensuring that we provide comprehensive coverage to our clients who need support during after-hours times. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and craft individualized treatment plans that promote therapeutic progress. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families, utilizing a variety of modalities tailored to the unique needs of your clients. Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and additional health professionals to ensure integrated care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being. Provide crisis intervention and manage acute distress situations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring clients receive timely support and care. Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma, thereby enhancing community well-being. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and present with diverse mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. By working with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, you will enhance your cultural competence and enrich your professional experience. Qualifications A current and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. A master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is imperative for this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. Cultural competence and sensitivity are crucial for effectively working with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills are necessary to ensure accurate documentation and case management while maintaining client confidentiality. Preferred Experience While a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with a background in community mental health settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention strategies will provide an added advantage in this role, contributing to your success in delivering high-quality care. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from
USD 80,000
to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
