Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy! In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress, improve daily living skills, and support clients in reaching their full potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene, to promote independence and self-care skills Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols under supervision, utilizing evidence-based strategies to support behavior management and skill development Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching techniques tailored to individual needs, including school-based interventions Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in care plans and progress updates Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring all medical documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date Participate in training on the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to uphold the highest standards of ethical practice Requirements Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health goals in home-based or clinical settings Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement Prior experience working in special education or school environments is a plus Certification as an RBT or willingness to complete required training; ongoing adherence to certification requirements is expected Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to client care Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive! $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
