Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy! In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, to promote meaningful progress through evidence-based behavioral interventions. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in developing communication, social, academic, and self-care skills aligned with their care plans Maintain a safe, supportive environment by managing behaviors using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across therapy sessions and document all clinical interactions accurately in medical records Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards to protect client confidentiality and ensure compliance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Requirements Valid RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or eligibility to obtain certification Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders in home-based or clinical settings Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and data collection methods Ability to assist clients with ADLs and support their behavioral health needs effectively Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA regulations related to client care Prior experience working with children in educational or therapeutic environments is highly preferred Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others succeed This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the behavioral health field while making a positive impact on children's lives.
